I know I still owe everyone the transfer story. I started writing it yesterday and realized that it's pretty long so I'll write it up over the weekend. There are a few funny moments in it and I laugh every time I think about the absurdity of the process we've been going through. The end result, though... Well, we all know this will all be worth it if everything goes right.
My co-worker (the one of the two that know) keeps asking me if I feel pregnant. Well... I kinda did and now I don't. A lot of pre-menstrual symptoms are similar to pregnancy ones, but all the symptoms I was having -- and that were reassuring me in thinking that everything took -- seem to have completely disappeared over the last day or two. Let's just say that I'm very discouraged right now.
The only two things that seem to be lingering are the fatigue, sensitivity to smells and hunger/faintness. But these can be explained by normal, non-pregnancy related things. My fatigue could be caused by the crazy hours I work, I've always been a little sensitive to smells and I notice things more in the fall, and I always get dizzy if I wait too long before eating.
I can only hope and trust that the Sea Monkeys have settled in to their little 9 month sublet studio. Next Tuesday afternoon seems a decade away.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the progress pictures from this weekend's marathon knitting sessions that I've been promising:
