16: Serious & Silly

Mark shot the most awesome video for me today. It showed Aden walking with his little baby Segway and Hunter standing unassisted for close to a minute.

I swear they weren't doing that this weekend. Not even close. Incredible.

Aden was having giggle fits all day long.

Of course, he did have a few serious moments. I think that Hunter may have influenced him there.

And just because I can, here's a pic of the fabulous dinner that Mark made for us:

Grilled polenta and asparagus with wild rice (for Mark; I passed).

I haven't mentioned it but I've decided to become a vegetarian again. I was one for about eight or nine years and have decided to go back to it. I generally feel healthier eating that way and actually really enjoy it.

To that end, I've already eliminated all poultry and red meat from my diet and this is my last fish-eating week. Mark's being super-supportive as always and is helping me keep to my diet by cooking and keeping my new diet in mind.

Isn't he awesome?

I haven't had beef or poultry since the 70's. (I love saying that). Do eat fish but not more than once a week.

Yum, what a great idea for dinner! And those giggle fits are delicious too, aren't they? I'd love to hear whatever you have to say about the vegetarian path - I'm trying to reduce my meat-eating considerably over here too.
