Work's been nuts so blog content has been a bit sparse, but rest assured that knitting (and much lusting after knitting) has been done. Here's a recap of the past few days:

• I finished the backs to both of the Milan Jackets for the babies on Sunday and cast on for the left fronts this evening. (For those not following along, I'm knitting both sweaters at the exact same time.)
• I finished the knitting on Balsam, a snoozing WIP that had huge error in it that caused me thrust it aside in frustration. This weekend I had an epiphany, and since I'm a much better knitter than I was a year ago, I was able to fix the error and move on. Really quickly. Amazing what a year of knitting experience can do for you.
• I've finished the third pattern repeat (out of 6) for the basketweave portion of Hanami.
• I bought yarn. Fleece Artist Suri Blue for Laminaria, which is now in my queue. [Must. Knit. Faster. Damnit.] Gorgeous laceweight for a sweater and a shawl (which one from all my patterns?)  from Webs. And, Berroco Zen for a proper Lucy Liu from Elann. And, I'm still lusting...

If this week does not pan out to be another week from hell, I will have a blocking / finishing party this weekend. I've got a lot of projects that need to have that fork stuck in them once and for all.

And, while Hanami is going swimmingly, I'm thinking of diverting back to projects for the kiddos for a bit.

After all, what kind of mom would I be if I didn't clothe my children first?
